Japanese Flag on I-52 |

The Japanese Naval flag was placed on I-52 by Paul Tidwell out of respect for those who lost their lives on June 23, 1944. |

The flag on the left was a captured Japanese Naval flag that had flown on a warship during World War II.
It was generously donated by a collector because he felt it would be better served on I-52 than in an old closet gathering dust.
I had him sign the flag on behalf of himself and family. |
